Bolts with nuts
Bolts are used in the rail fastening systems for fastening the clamp plate, clip or tension clamp: the component fixing the rail to the rail base plate (in case of rails which are laid on wooden sleeper) or to the concrete sleeper. Bolts may have head with different shapes, however most commonly used are the “T”-head bolts or T bolts. The surface of the head of the T bolts facing towards its shaft is shaped either plane square or partially curved. We can offer and supply any type of bolts with metric thread and hexagonal nuts to our customers, including bolts to be manufactured corresponding to customer’s private drawings as well.
T-head bolt with nut
The Hungarian National Railways uses mainly two models of T-head metric-threaded bolts with hexagonal nuts having the dimensions of M24 x 72 (90) mm and M22 x 65 (82) mm:
The above bolts with nuts are used with either clamp plates (KP6) or tension clamps (SKL-3).
